AN OVERVIEW OF THE HILTON HEAD ISLAND SKI CLUB

Organized in 1986 to foster and perpetuate the general sport of skiing, the Hilton Head Island Ski Club is an organization comprised of both skiers and non-skiers. It is a diverse group with an average annual membership of 185-190 people. This diversity is the bond that draws us together and fosters new friendships.  Read more on our  About Us page.     

For those members who are skiers, the annual ski trips, in January and February, offer both the opportunity to ski America's beautiful slopes and to share in the camaraderie that only a ski trip can provide. During the remainder of the year, our social calendar is full of activities that range from monthly TGIF's to golf and tennis tournaments, group theatre trips, oyster roasts and picnics and our wonderful Annual Holiday Dinner Dance.

The Ski Club is managed by an elected Board of Directors. This group is hard working and gives many hours of volunteer service to our club. Without their efforts, financial accounts would not balance, membership records would not be updated, ski trips would not be organized and we definitely would not have the extraordinary social schedule that we all enjoy.

But what sets our Hilton Head Island Ski Club apart from others is our membership...generous, caring and always ready to welcome new members!
